Luzia Sento Sé, 1993, is a visual artist from Bahia who lives and works in Salvador. In her paintings, elements of nature, textures, symbols and concepts evoke affective memories and create connections with the place where she lives. Her research explores embroidery, lace, textiles and other forms of handcraft, transforming material and everyday references into visual narratives. These references take shape through composition, collage and color, in works marked by repetition and rhythm—qualities informed by her relationship with print design, fashion and graphic design. A graduate in Industrial and Product Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design, she has built a multidisciplinary career across art, product, fashion and surface design, both as an entrepreneur leading the Prefiro Colorida studio and as a designer at FARM Rio. She is represented by Tria Galeria in Salvador.
